Sunshine of a Clueless Mind Website Review

This website is about new tech news from all around the world.

My improvements:

The title- When you hear ‘Sunshine of a Clueless Mind’ you think of someone who has nothing better to do than blog about their life, expecting everyone to be interested. I think you should change your website name to something that describes your website more. For example, World Tech Tips, World Tech News, Techhy Tips, etc.

The thing on the left of your posts that tell you the date when the post was published is too small. The word ‘October’ doesn’t fit in it properly. Try using just ‘Oct’. I know people don’t care about the date much, but it does make the website look better.

All of your posts seem to have exactly 10 likes from facebook. I spot a bit of cheating there?

From a quick glance down your blog, it doesn’t look or sound very tech-focused. The pictures don’t really relate to tech, and the posts titles sound like general chit-chat. The only way someone knows this is tech focused is because of your slogan. Try to make your blog post titles more descriptive. They need to catch the readers attention for them to read it. For example, the title ‘How are you feeling?’ could be changed to ‘Java Applet analyses the worlds feelings’.

I recommend you have a menu bar at the top, with things such as ‘Blog, About Me, Most interesting story of the month, Most popular posts‘ etc. It gives uses more to do on your site, so they stay for longer.

That ‘BlogUp’ image doesn’t fit on your side bar. Edit the HTML to make it smaller, relocate it, or just get rid of it.

I always think that ‘Follow by email’ is the best way for someone to follow your blog, because you are sending the post right to them. I’ll give you an example:

Follow by twitter is like having an A4 poster advertising your blog in a town center. Its is where lots of people can see it, but hardly anyone will pay attention to it.

Follow on Facebook is like having a small slot in the local newspaper. They will only see you if they buy the newspaper and look at the advert.

Stumble the page is like giving flyers outside a school at home time. Most people will see the flyers but just throw them on the floor.

Following by Email is like sending a letter to someone. They will see it and read it and will get your the most response.

So put the Follow By email widget nearer the top.
