1: The title ‘Your Free Place’ doesn’t really tell me much about the website. I think you need a slogan to give me a little more information.

2: This header reminds me a lot of a well known download website. I just can’t remember the actual name of the website. If I remember it, i’ll post it as a comment.

3: It doesn’t hurt to use a few capital letters around the place. In fact, it makes it easier to look at.

4: It’s like a ghost town round here.  You should make some accounts that you control and reply to some topics to get a few replies.

5: Ghost town…

When I first look at your home page, I don’t know what it is. Is it a forum? Is it a social network? Is it a blog? I really don’t know. The landing page for the link should be, like Facebook or Twitter, a page that lets you log in or register, but also tells you what the website is. You also have members and member in your menu bar. I don’t know what the difference is, except the ‘s’.

Okay, so you have eight members. Fair enough, but now lets look at the active members, just one. You should encourgage these people to be more active on the site. Offer them a reward or something, such as ‘If you are active on the site for a few weeks you can be a moderator on the forums’, or ‘free advertising if you become active’. Along those lines. If you choose the free advertising one, do something like ‘For every two weeks you are active on the site, you get one week of free advertising’. This means they will continuously have to be active to get more advertising.

You also need to create some fake accounts. I touched on this above, but all these are, are accounts registered on your email address (hide the email addresses), then you just interact and talk to yourself on it. Then when people see there is some action then they might join.

Remove this text. Because you said ‘we’, I assume you are talking on behalf of all of your members. You have now stopped everyone who uses Windows from joining.

!!! You could at least give us a little  preview of what we are about to join in this box!

Overall, I think you need to clear up a niche for your website, something that it focuses on.
